Theodore Roosevelt was a larger than life character almost of contemporary times. He was was not only just a President of the United States at the beginning of the 20th Century. He was was a rancher and cowboy, an adventurer, explorer, lover of nature and a conservationist. He was also a soldier, Colonel Roosevelt, whom led his own company of Rough Riders into war against the Spanish.
